If you would like details of our 2016 residential writing course, please email us here.

In 2015, our residential creative writing course took place once again in the lovely surroundings of Three Ways House Hotel, Mickleton, Gloucestershire, just a few miles from Stratford.

Over a spring weekend, attendees worked with the Arvon tutor and novelist Christopher Wakling. to develop ideas, however far through the creative writing process you find yourself. The courses is ideal for debut writers, those who need some encouragement, and those who want to fine tune their work. You will explore where stories come from and how they are best written.  You’ll look at what inspires you, help you develop your ideas, and receive advice - by way of examples and exercises - on beginnings, dialogue, characterisation, plot, genre, endings and editing.
