Ruth Jones

Wed 25th April 2018
7.30pm - 8.30pm
Stratford ArtsHouse

Ruth Jones is best known for her outstanding and award-winning television writing - BBC 2’s Gavin and Stacey (co-written with James Corden), in which she plays the incorrigible, black leathered Ness, and Sky 1’s Stella, in which she had the title role. She has won acclaim for her performances in BBC dramas Tess of the D’Urbervilles, Little Dorrit and Hattie, as well as comedies Little Britain, Saxondale and Nighty Night. She’ll be talking about her stellar career and her first foray into novel writing – in which she looks at the dangers of always looking for something better or trying to resurrect the past when the best might be here and now.
