Colin Dexter opens the Festival
Wednesday 27th April 2011
We launched on Monday 25th with a wonderful evening of Colin Dexter's anecdotes about Morse, John Thaw and all the funny things that have happened to him during the making of the programmes and the fame it has brought him. A lovely evening with much laughter.
Tuesday 26th saw Catherine Horwood talking about Gardening Women and Barbara Trapido on how she creates a story.
Wednesday 27th and would-be writers are packed into a workshop with Jo Herbert, Writer's and Artist's Yearbook editor, showing them ropes to getting your book published. Meanwhile Suzanne Worthington runs a workshop on writing for the web/blogging and being a brilliant social networking writer.
