Family Fun Day
Sunday 1st May 2011
On Sunday, 1st May 2011 we'll be holding a Family Fun Day at Comptoin Verney Art Gallery.
The day opens at 11am and will be filled with great things to do.
Meet illustrators like the brilliant Axel Scheffler - who draws The Gruffalo - and Jackie Morris who creates fairy story books and drawings. Meet the hilarious writer Philip Ardagh, creator of The Grub Town Tales. Create a play with Playbox Theatre, or a book to keep forever with our book-making workshop. Listen to stories from the Tell Woman or in the story-telling Tipi, and discover the world of Roald Dahl with BFG Anthony Pedley.
There'll be music and entertainers, a place for a picnic by the lake and plenty of memories to take home.
