Festival celebrates Shakespeare's Birthday

Monday 21st April 2014

Stratford-upon-Avon will be a buzz of activity over the next few days as we celebrate the 450th Birthday of the great man himself. And the Festival will be at the centre of it. We start on the morning of 23rd April with The Natural Theatre Company welcoming passengers as they arrive at Birmingham Airport. In association with NFU Mutual, and to celebrate the Festival Theme of 'Journeys', it seems just the place to be!

On Saturday 26th April we'll be joining the throngs on the Bancroft Gardens with entertainment from The Emergency Poet and her helfpful sidekick Nurse Verse as they dispense poems to suit your mood and ease your soul. The Bookshop Band will set a story to music and Anna O'Brian, the 'Annamations storyteller' will be entertaining crowds with inpromptu tales.
