Poetry Competition Winners

We are delighted to announce the winners and runners-up of the 2011 Stratford Literary Festival Poetry Competition!

We received hundreds of entries and the treatment of the title 'My Home' was varied, imaginative and fascinating to read.

Winners:
7-10 age category: Katie Phillips
11-16 age category: Saskia Caines
17 and Over age category: Elizabeth Jones

Runners-Up:
7-10 age category: Lucy Hyde, Felix Gallagher and William Sanderson
11-16 age category: Alex Thompson, Holly Mann and Joshua Hill
17 and Over age category: Elizabeth Clark, Helen Yendall and Spencer Foyle

The Winners will each receive a £50 cheque from our sponsors Victoria Jeffs Estate Agents who we would like to thank for its support.

The Runners-Up will each receive book tokens.

Congratulations to our winners and thank you for entering the competition.

 

All the winning entries as well as commended poems will be published in a Poetry Book My Home which will be on sale at The Shakespeare Bookshop, Henley Street, Stratford, for £7.99 from 26th April.
