Tom Wins the Book Cover Comp!

Wednesday 28th March 2012

First year graphics student from Stratford College, Tom Morris, 17 from Solihull, beat the field of excellent entries into this year’s Stratford Literary Festival Competition to design a cover for a Poetry Book, featuring the winning entries to the Festival’s annual Poetry Competition. The competition, open to all first year graphics, photography and art students, was to create an image with the title ‘Words Paint Pictures’ and the project included advice from leading UK publishers, Orion Press, who visited the students. Tom’s design will be featured on the cover of the books which are on sale from 23rd April at The Shakespeare Bookshop in the Birthplace Gift Shop.
