We welcome one of the world’s most eminent conductors, and one of the few females in her profession. She joins us to tell the story of the young German composer who, in 1712, followed his princely master, the soon to be George II, to London and remained there for the rest of his life. Glover, who has conducted Handel’s work in opera houses and concert halls throughout the world, draws on her profound understanding of music and musicians to tell Handel’s story – the story of some of the most remarkable music ever written.
