Change and loss - in whatever form - affects everyone’s life at some point. A lecturer in English Literature at Barnard College in New York, Mary Cregan explores the depression that engulfed her after bereavement, detailed in her book The Scar. She’ll be in conversation with Julia Samuel MBE, a grief psychotherapist, who has spent the last 25 years working with bereaved families. In her latest book, This Too Shall Pass: Stories of Change, Crisis and Hopeful Beginnings she looks at how we can cope with the shifting sands in our lives, and how we can learn to adapt and thrive during our most difficult and transformative experiences.
