Did you know that we are not the only species that communicates, makes tools, utilises fire, or has sex for reasons other than to make new versions of ourselves? In this original and entertaining tour of life on Earth, Adam Rutherford, the BBC Radio 4 presenter of Inside Science, explores how many of the things once considered to be exclusively human are not. Adam Rutherford is a science writer and television and radio broadcaster. His critically acclaimed first book, Creation – on the origin and future of life - was published in 2013, and was nominated for the Wellcome Trust Book Prize.
