Duncan Minshull 'Where my Feet Fall' - Guided walk
It goes without saying, walking can connect us to our surroundings and free us from our worries. It can raise our heart rate and relax our minds. It can lead us across historic ground and inspire new thinking. Take a stroll with former BBC Radio producer and writer, the 'laureate of walking', as he shares an exhilarating collection of essays called Where My Feet Fall, from 20 outstanding walker-writers including Ingrid Persaud, Agnes Poirier, Kamila Shamsie and Will Self, that capture the magic and opportunity that arrive when you put one foot in front of the other. Please wear sturdy footwear and bring water for this hour-long walk from the Crowne Plaza. Terrain mainly flat but not suitable for people with difficulty walking or wheelchair users.
