The composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim (1930-2021) is widely regarded as one of the most important figures in 20th century theatre, credited with reinventing the American musical, for which he received numerous accolades including eight Grammys and the Pulitzer Prize. We celebrate his legacy with an evening of his music, with songs from his best known creations including A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, and of course Sunday in the Park with George.
