Harry R McCarthy and Professor Tiffany Stern Edward's Boys - performing early modern drama

Dr Harry R. McCarthy of the University of Cambridge, author of Performing Early Modern Drama Beyond Shakespeare: Edward’s Boys, joins Professor Tiffany Stern of Stratford's Shakespeare Institute to discuss the theatrical work of the world’s premier all-boy acting company, who are based at King Edward VI School (‘Shakespeare’s School’).

5.00pm – Reception in the Foyer of the Levi Fox Hall (please enter by the car park on Chapel Lane)
Refreshments will be served. Welcome from the Headmaster
5.10pm – Short performance by Edward’s Boys
5.20pm – Move across to the Guildhall
5.30pm – Presentation by Professor Tiffany Stern and Harry McCarthy with Q&A
6.00pm – Finish
